Dr. Franz Hütter
Hello, I'm Franz, a professional commuter between science and practice, connecting scientists and people from the business world and in doing so also increasing the absorption capacity of people on both sides. I believe our future depends on the success and speed of human learning. A well-educated, pattern-breaking intellect, combined with personal strength, is the currency of a future where our well-being relies on discovering new solutions beyond current imagination. This is precisely why I wholeheartedly serve as an advisor for the symposium, dedicated to fostering the spirit of science into society.
Session on Day 1 (WHY): Scientificity
Current biopsychological research shows that skilful storytelling creates a willingness to cooperate by synchronizing higher cognitive and emotional structures in our heads.
The “common wavelength” is therefore more than just a metaphor, the art of storytelling more than just pleasing entertainment.
Rather, when we use narrative skills, we are tapping directly into an evolutionary-biological success pattern of our species: The trust-building power of shared narratives extends the reach of human bonding capacity far beyond the small group we can know personally.
Stories are therefore like the internet for our social brain. They multiply the evolutionary selection advantage of the ability to bond and form alliances. There is currently no more powerful tool for persuasion and social effectiveness in sight.
